Solo/Duo/Trio lessons are charged per person, by the class, discounts do not apply
Family discounts and tuition incentives are available:
- Pay your tuition in full for the year by September 24th and receive your June tuition 1/2 off!
- If you pre-register for the 2008-2009 dance year before June recital, and pay for your 1st month's lessons ($40), your registration fee will be waived!
- Family discounts:
- 2 children: $15
- 3 children: $20
- 4 children: 3 at full rate, 4th is free
Tuition payments are made electronically the second Monday of each month (Except for September). September & June tuitions are billed together on September 24th.
Dance Concepts accepts Cash, Checks, MC/Visa. There is a $30.00 fee for returned checks and electronic checks.
COSTUMES
A $45.00 costume deposit will be electronically withdrawn on October 27, 2007, unless previously paid. Upon arrival of the costumes, payment must be made in full for all costumes, before they can be picked up. After costumes are ordered, payment for your costumes is your responsibility, whether you participate in recital or not.
STUDIO CLOSINGS
Dance Concepts will be closed Sunday December 16, 2007 through Tuesday January 1, 2008. A Christmas party will be held on Saturday December 15, 2007 between 2:00pm – 4:00pm, with a visit from Santa Claus.
CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY
Dance Concepts does not cancel classes during winter (Feb) and spring (Apr) vacations. We cancel classes only due to inclement weather based on the Pelham public school system. When school is cancelled dance is also, unless contacted by phone.
PICTURE DAY
All dancers are expected to participate in our annual “Picture Day” which will be held in May (date to follow). All classes are photographed as well as individuals (a separate sign up sheet will be available for individual photos). The purchase of photos is optional. There is no sitting fee.
NEWSLETTER
Newsletters are sent home and emailed every two months. Studio notices are also posted in the studio and on the website, regarding class activities such as jammie weeks, wear your costume during Halloween week, bring a friend week & upcoming events.
RECITAL
Dance Concepts will be holding its 17th annual recital on Saturday June 14, 2008 at Westford Academy in Westford, MA. There will be two different performances. A matinee (1:00) show and an evening (5:00) show. All students are required to sell 5 recital tickets and families 7. Extra tickets are usually available. We offer families, dancers, and local businesses in the community the opportunity to place ads and words of encouragement to ”their” dancer or teacher in the annual recital program.
Balances must be at zero in order to perform in the recital.
Dance Concepts reserves the right to use photos of students at the studio or in competitive events on its website, advertisements, articles or any such related material pertaining to dance for publicity.
LOBBY RULES, ETC
For the convenience of our patrons and guests, wireless access is available to anyone who would like to bring their laptop in and do some work, homework or browse the web. A security code is posted on the bulletin board in the lobby to access the wireless connection.
A television is available in the lobby for viewing. Please ask in the office for the remote control.
Beverages & snacks are available at the snack bar for your convenience (sponsored by the Dance Concepts Competition Team.)
Any person or child, while not being under the supervision of an instructor, & participating in “horseplay”, acro/gymnastics, non-supervised dance (in any form, inclusive of acro/gym) & Non-Students running, jumping, throwing objects, destructive behavior, etc, will not hold Dance Concepts responsible, should the person be injured, etc..
Dance Concepts reserves the right to ask people to leave the premises, for destructive behavior & interruption of normal business operations.
